A Partner in the firm of Kerr Michaels Design & Construction Management sinde 1979, Jan's areas of expertise include land acquisition, planning, interior design, budgeting, scheduling and construction management.

Land Acquisition

Responsible for the negotiation and purchase of over twelve major project sites involving soils, surveying, deed restrictions and title research.

Planning

Working with architects in establishing master planning, density requirements and governmental agency approvals.

Interior Design

Focusing on interior design solutions for high-end single family homes and condominiums, dealing with color and materials, finish specifications and establishing the initial interior design parameters with the architect to achieve design that works from the inside out.

Construction Management

Hands-on project oversight with emphasis on budgeting and scheduling. Coordination of subcontractor and establishment of quality control standards.
